Victims of Crime Act Funding

Thanks to funding from the Crime Victims Reparation Commission and the Victims of Crime Act, we are able to provide a limited number of spots in our self-defense classes to survivors of violence or crime at no cost!

If you have experienced crime (including, but not limited to, domestic violence, sexual assault, child abuse, DWI crashes, financial exploitation, survivors of homicide, elder abuse, stalking and assault), and you are interested in taking one of our public classes, fill out the PDF in English or Spanish and send it to marie@resolvenm.org or mail it to us at: PO Box 8350, Santa Fe, NM 87504.

Please submit the application as early as possible before the class you wish to attend. Upon the application’s approval, you will be contacted. If you have any questions, please contact our office. Note: Submitting an application does not reserve your spot in your first-choice course.

Absolutely no documentation or police reports necessary to qualify!

Marissa’s Scholarship Fund

This Fund was created in memorial to a beloved, vibrant teen by the family and friends of Marissa Mathy-Zvaifler. Marissa’s friends and family wanted to make sure that the life-saving skills taught in the Resolve 20-hour Basics course would be available to every teen, by automatically giving a scholarship to every teen participant of Basics. The Fund is also used to give need-based scholarships so all participants, regardless of income, can receive Resolve training on how to prevent violence in their own life.

If you would like to apply for a scholarship, please fill out this short scholarship application. If you are unable to to access the Google form, you can fill out the PDF and send it to marie@resolvenm.org or mail it to us at: PO Box 8350, Santa Fe, NM 87504.  Need-based scholarships are awarded first-come first-served. Please submit the application as early as possible before the class you wish to attend. Upon the application’s approval, you will be contacted. If you have any questions, please contact our office. Note: Submitting an application does not reserve your spot in your first-choice course.

Since 2003, over $150,000 of scholarship funds have been raised from businesses and individuals, and utilized to aid participants in receiving these skills.  We are grateful to the donors who make Resolve skills available to everyone in our community!
